We all experience stress and suffering. It’s a common thread of humanity. Transcending differences.
But it may look or manifest uniquely for each of us. I have depression, you have anxiety. I have suffered the loss of a parent, you have experienced systemic trauma.
It can come in small, subtle ways. Feelings of irritation or slight discomforts. It can also feel big. Overwhelming. Insurmountable.
We can get stuck, feel heavy, disconnected, and constricted.
Stress and suffering can be pervasive and sticky. They can cut us off from the things we love as well as those we love.
WE experience these different facets of suffering. I know this to be the truth. It is with this knowing that I choose to sit with others that are in the middle of painful experiences.
It is with this truth that I believe I can assist in guiding you to a better understanding of yourself, the suffering you experience, and in helping you discover a deeper relationship with what is most important to you.
There is hope. And you are not alone. This is part of our common humanity.
Through collaborating, discussing, sharing, learning, embracing curiosity, and developing awareness and compassion, we can work together towards creating a more open way of being.
Perhaps we can’t make the suffering go away, but we can change our relationship to it.
